01. Our 30-Day Return Policy

We want you to love your Buterily jewelry unconditionally. If for any reason you're not completely satisfied, you may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund β€” no lengthy explanations required.

We believe that buying fine jewelry online should feel as safe as buying it in person. Our return policy is designed to give you complete peace of mind from the moment you add a piece to your cart.

30-Day Return Window: Returns are accepted within 30 calendar days from the date your order is delivered. Items must be in their original, unworn condition with all original packaging, jewelry box, and certificate of authenticity included.

02. How to Return or Exchange

We've made returning as straightforward as possible. The entire process takes less than five minutes to initiate, and we'll guide you through every step.

Step 1 β€” Contact Our Team: Email us at support@buterily.com with your order number and a brief note about your return or exchange request. We respond within 24 hours, often sooner. No need to fill out any forms β€” a simple email is all it takes.

Step 2 β€” Receive Your Return Instructions We'll email you a prepaid return shipping label (for US and UK orders) along with simple packing instructions. For other regions, we'll provide the return address and guide you through the most cost-effective shipping option.

Step 3 β€” Pack & Ship Your Item: Place the item in its original jewelry box, with all accessories and the certificate of authenticity. Pack securely in the outer box or a padded envelope. Drop it off at your nearest post office or courier location β€” no appointment needed.

Step 4 β€” Refund or Exchange Processed Once we receive and inspect your return (typically 2–3 business days after arrival), we'll process your full refund to your original payment method within 5 business days. For exchanges, your new item ships immediately upon inspection.

✦ Prepaid Returns for US & UK Customers We cover the cost of return shipping for all orders delivered to the United States and the United Kingdom. Simply use the label we send you β€” no out-of-pocket cost to you. For all other regions, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.


03. Exchanges

Not the right size? Changed your mind on the style? We make exchanges easy. You can exchange any eligible item for a different size, a different style, or even a different piece entirely β€” as long as the item is returned within 30 days of delivery in unworn condition.

If the exchange item is of a higher value, you'll simply pay the difference. If it's a lower value, we'll refund the difference to your original payment method.

04. Damaged or Defective Items

Every Buterily piece undergoes quality inspection before shipping. However, if your item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, we will make it right immediately β€” at no cost to you, no questions asked.

Our Guarantee on Defective Items. Please email us at support@buterily.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and 2–3 photographs clearly showing the damage or defect. We will send a replacement at no charge, or issue a full refund including return shipping β€” whichever you prefer.

We take quality seriously. High-carbon diamonds are graded before setting, and every 925 sterling silver piece is inspected for finish, clasp integrity, and stone security before it leaves our workshop. In the rare event that something doesn't meet our standard, we own that completely.


05. Refund Processing

Once your return has been received and inspected at our facility, we will process your refund promptly. Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase.

We'll send you a confirmation email the moment your refund is processed. Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a product defect.


06. Customs Duties & International Returns

Buterily ships globally from our fulfillment center. For international customers, please note the following:

Import Duties on Delivery Import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by your country upon delivery are the responsibility of the recipient. These vary by country and are beyond our control. We recommend checking your local customs regulations before ordering.

International Return Shipping. For returns from outside the US and UK, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping service. Buterily is not responsible for returns lost in transit without tracking.

Note on US Tariffs (2025) Due to changes in US import regulations in 2025, packages from China valued over $800 may be subject to import duties. For orders under $800 (which covers most of our collection), no import duties apply under the US de minimis threshold. For orders above this value, we will clearly communicate any applicable duties at checkout.

Order Tracking

All orders are shipped with full tracking. You will receive a tracking number by email within 2 business days of dispatch. Track your order via 17track.net or directly through the carrier's website.


Customs & Import Duties

Buterily is not responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by the destination country. These are determined by local customs authorities and are the buyer's responsibility. Most US orders under $800 qualify for duty-free entry under the de minimis exemption.

Note for EU customers: Orders shipped to EU countries may be subject to local VAT. For orders over €150, import VAT may be collected at the border. We recommend checking your country's import regulations before placing your order.


Lost or Damaged in Transit

If your order does not arrive within the estimated delivery window or arrives damaged, please contact us at support@buterily.com within 7 days. We will investigate with the carrier and resolve the issue promptly β€” either by reshipping or issuing a full refund.

We are temporarily unable to ship to Russia and certain restricted regions. If your country is not available at checkout, please contact us, and we will do our best to assist you.
